i think the coaching staff needs to go. sure, williams fuged up big time and that fumble probably cost us the game but i notice the same bullshit consistently from our coaches.

 

mcdermott can't adjust the defense to stop the same fuging plays. last year against the bears they ran slants all the way down the field to win the game. this game they run rollouts and quick throws the the flats all god damn day.

 

rivera is a gigantic pussy by not trusting in cam and for apparently being incapable of making this team disciplined.

 

shula treated cam like a rookie quarterback today. poo was absolutely pathetic to watch.

We just lost a close game to a top 5 team and shut them down most of the day. We would be winners right now if it wasn't for a small mistake. Now all I hear is how Cam sucks Rivera has to go and Lafell should be cut.

 

Most people have Seahawks as a superbowl favorite, we went toe to toe with them and it was an extremely close game. Get a grip.

 

 

There aint no feel good losses in the NFL.

Please go list all the games we could have won last year and what could have been except for those few minor mistakes.

Their are only winners and losers, the feel good about the loss mentality in BofA must be purged.

Common denominator:  There are always questions about coaching.  Clock management again was suspect at the end of both halves.

 

Not really surprised we lost in this fashion.  When we couldn't score in the second half you could tell it was only a matter of time.  We let them do just enough to beat us.  We are an easy team to beat if you get us in a certain position.  It happened again.  Discipline seems to be the biggest issue.  This team is never fully prepared scheme-wise and mentally.   For every play we make, we do something boneheaded.  It's a different player every time.

 

it's not RR's or Shula's fault D-Lo fumbled inside the 10.  D-Lo had a great game other than that one lapse.  Seahawks defender made a great play.  That's it.

 

The problem is that over and over this happens and we can't get over the hump.  THe offense did everything just fine...except score points.  What a heartbreaker.  The fumble was as decisive as a turnover can be.  Other mistakes:

 

Alexander got ejected.

Josh Thomas got picked on and eventually burned.

The special teams turnover (Thomas)

Didn't try to go downfield with 30 secs and 3 timeouts to close the 1st half.

Didn't manage timeouts well at the end of the game.

Armond Smith penalty.

Defense was stout the whole game, but was gassed when it mattered.

Drops by Olsen.  Few other receivers got involved.

Mental toughness waned in the 4th quarter.

RR failed again.
