If Panthers get off to slow start, Rivera may be fired by the BYE suggests Sharpe

Check out what Sterling Sharpe has to say about Rivera and the hot seat.

"Ron Rivera, the last two seasons, has started 2-8," Sharpe said. "He's not going to get a chance to go (2-8) because if he loses his first two (games) they are going to consider firing him in Week 3."

 Wow! Ain't that nothing?

You think he has some inside info, or is he just pulling this out of his ass?  I think that he is just making headlines.

Idiot think the has inside I info....RR has started each year at 2-8. He is just suggesting a 3rd year in a row down that path may just be stopped. I think a 1-3 or 0-4 start could do it for most franchises. Carolina? I think JR would just ride it out

So by week 4 we'd fire our head coach who the players really buy in to and promote one of two under-qualified coordinators?

That would pretty much be saying the season is over.  Sharper is pulling poo out of his ass, like he always does.
