All down to the o-line. I haven't budged from 6-10 because the team hasn't budged and signed some upgrades to that right side. I wouldn't be surprised if we're better, but I don't have my hopes up.

I just read a article Scott Fowler posted. He predicted 10-6. Last year he predicted 8-8 and in 2011 he predicted 6-10. Im going with Fowler since he seems to be spot on. 10-6

depends on the d-line and o-line.  if they both hold up I predict a 10+ season. If either or both fail we could just as easily lose 10.  I'll take the over on 8-8 if I have to choose.  I have a lot of faith in Star/Kuechly. And Davis/Beason arent any slouches either. Put together with CJ and the Kraken, we have some promise. Weakness is still the DB's but they look to have improved.

 

So since I think the DB's are the only piece that could cost us a game even if all our other strengths are shooting at peak capacity here is my breakdown of the QB's we will face this season.

Russel Wilson (good but not great passer)         ?  

     

EJ Manuel (Rookie, nuff said)                   W

 

Eli Manning (first real QB test but hopefully some sweet sweet vengeance)                              ?      

     

Carson Palmer (past his prime but was never great to begin with)                    W

 

Christian Ponder (should be an easy matchup QB-wise)                             ?

 

Sam Bradford (overhyped gamemanager with a good coach.  First game I am really concerned with)            ?   

       

Josh Freeman (coin flip on QB performance.  Could be a cake walk or VJ may light us up without good safety play)      ?

 

Matt Ryan (gonna be a good game could go either way)                  ?

 

Colin Kaepernick (gonna be interesting to see what we can do against the read option. probably gonna be a tough game)             ?

 

Tom Brady (folds under pressure, and we bring pressure.)               W

 

Ryan Tannehill (expect some deep ball TD's to wallace. we should still come away with the win though)         W

9-7 I'm optimistic about the offensive line but I think that soft zone will frustrate us fans at times when our line is not able to get consistent pressure.

I believe our run defensive problems will be a problem of the past. Star and Cole wil hold up. on offense I think Smitty will be moving to the slot starting either Sunday or against Buffalo.
