Seahawks - Panthers on NFL Live (ESPN)

Oh, and BTW miscommunications are a two way street. Sometimes it is on the QB and sometimes it is on the WR

that's not even the issue. the issue is that was the only thing they said. it's like do they think that doesn't happen to every single QB in the league? even Brady and Peyton. yes it does. it's just always a negative light with Cam.

Honestly I think only one of those was an actual miscommunication. One was just a bad throw and the other he was hit as he threw

Oh, I think they were legit miscommunications.  My big question would be whether those were last year or his rookie season.

Newton throwing three or four inaccurate passes a game?  I can see that.  Newton throwing three or four passes a game that are ten yards off the mark (like the clips they showed)?  Maybe my memory is bad, but I don't recall seeing that many of those.

It's also worth remembering that miscommunication isn't always the QBs fault.  Sometimes receivers change and/or break off routes because of something they see or something the defense does.  You just hope there's enough chemistry between QB and WR to account for that.

Edit: I see you posted the same thing as I was typing

The last one was from this preseason against the Ravens I think and it looks to me like he got hit because the ball ducked and had no velocity as the pocket collapsed on him.

Maybe not though. That is just how it looked to me.

"Preseason Newton" is a guy I probably wouldn't start on a junior college team.

But as has been discussed before, newton is a gunslinger.  Gunslingers are "gamers".  Gamers are only at their best when the live bullets are flying.

My word to Schlereth would be 'talk to me again after week one',

Mark what's his face talking about Cam looking at his QB wristband, which he does not wear, told me all I needed to know

Wow that is so obnoxiously foul I went back and looked at the Baltimore game to see if Shula gave him a wristband....no wristband. That really says a ton about what kind of person Mark Schlereth is.

If its that firs throw from the Baltimore game Byron Bell basically back peddles into him ruining his motion.

Basic Recap:

Praised Wilson, but questioned whether he's ready to take over the game if the Seahawks need him to.

Regarding Newton, said his problem isn't accuracy as much as it is making mistakes, i.e. throwing to the wrong spot for the play design.

On topic two, Mark Schlereth said Newton needs to improve his play knowledge and stop making the mistake of throwing the ball to the wrong spot.

According to Schlereth, Newton makes this kind of mistake "three or four times a game".

Both Schlereth and Tedy Bruschi picked the Seahawks on Sunday.

I expect that must be one of the reasons that Shula simplified the language to avoid miscommunication.  He must have seen the same thing and fixed it.  Lets hope............

You guys realize that these idiots, every last one of them are just reading the script placed in front of them, right?  They rehearse this shlt, decide when and to what extent they will disagree and the producers tell them when to dial it down or push the envelope.

Schlereth has to be assisted by a nurse and have a picture of Pele in his left hand during bowel movements because turds scare him.

ESPN has become the epitome of Disney in every sense of concept.
