Sorry, but a guy who essentially says "He can't throw on us" or underestimates/undermines his opponent in any way is not humble.  I don't care how good he's sounded in other interviews or whatever, humble people don't say poo like that.

Not that I really give a fug about humbleness, I like players with a bit of attitude, but don't try to say he's as humble as Kuechly (since the two are constantly compared) or the most humble player in the NFL.

Have you ever heard Luke say anything even remotely as undermining as that?

Good thing he didn't do that.

Butt-hurt much? Wow. Talk about putting your own spin on it. Undermining? LOL.... I don't think he said what you think he said. You obviously do not know the player, so it's not worth discussing. He's humble. You are misunderstanding/over-stating the situation. Whatever tweaks your tail, dude.

Not sure who you are talking to, but moving the goalposts is a weak rhetorical device. I said he was one of the most humble. I made no comparison to Kuechly at all, in fact, nor did I state a specific superlative that he is *the* most humble. "One of" does not equal "the." This is basic grammar, tail-twitcher.

You seem to have a very strong tendency to hear what you want to hear. Perhaps that's how you psyche yourself up, I don't know. I've never understood the need or desire to twist others' words. Stand your ground (as opposed to shifting sands/moving goal posts) or stand down, I say.

Oh, and as for the Kuechly-Wagner good, better, best convo:

( Hint: Wagner has a higher percentage of meaningful stops.)

Ouch! That's gotta hurt!

Spends 6 paragraphs psycho-analyzing my post and calls me butthurt.

you-got-me.gif

Lol totally butthurt.

And I'm not even getting into the Wagner/Kuechly argument with you.  I'm sure you're right and just about every analyst, expert, pundit, evaluator, etc. out there are totally wrong about Kuechly, who didn't even start at MLB but was instead a rotational OLB playing out of position until week 5 (in our game against you as a matter of fact).  He should feel bad, and just give that DROTY trophy to its rightful owner.

I'll just add that there's a reason Kuechly overwhelmingly ran away with the DROTY award, and it's not because the media likes us-- they don't.

Lol.

I'm beginning to think the posters here have a collective inability to understand what is written. I haven't said a single negative thing about Kuechly. You do know drugs are bad for you, right? Just say, no, imapro!

Shall I? Kuechly might be faster given the number of sacks. He was #1 in ROTY voting. Wagner was #2. Wagner had more sacks and more INTs. It would be interesting to know what these numbers are per snap.

If you want to claim Kuechly is the best MLB ever for some absurd reason, go ahead. If it's important for you to have Kuechly > Wagner bumper sticker, go for it. but there is this:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/sigrunstopilb.png

So at least one objective organization thinks Wagner was more effective and efficient.

Personally, I don't care. I've only been talking about Wagner because some guy here said Kuechly and Wagner aren't even at the same level, which is blatantly absurd and deserves to be addressed.

Which is 1 and which is 2? They were both rookies. Maybe that conversation is a bit premature for a MLB. That is a position that seems to get significantly better with experience.

You try way, way too hard and blew my original post way out of context and proceeded to go all Dr. Motha' fuging Phil on me.  I didn't read the whole Wagner article, nor do I care to, all I saw was "We want to make him (Cam) try to beat us throwing, which I don't think he can do".  That quote speaks for itself, context or not, and I stated that's not something a humble person would say. Not once did I diss Wagner, I even said I liked players with attitude.

I only mentioned Kuechly because someone (might've been you, I don't even remember) said he was as humble as Luke.  Luke has never even said anything remotely controversial enough about an opposing team that it would catch headlines like Wagner's quote.  If you drew anything deeper than that out of my post, then that's your problem, you're reaching.

The rest of my OP was directed towards a Panthers fan, not you, so pull your head out your ass please.  He said that Wagner was the most humble person in the NFL.

I never Kuechly was the best MLB ever, nor did I say he was even the best in the NFL.  Do I think he's better than Wagner?  Yes.  Is he leaps and bounds better than Wagner that they aren't even comparable?  No.

Stop assuming poo.

One of the biggest problems with the Panthers in the past 2 years to me has been coaching. We can match up physically with most teams. When Seattle comes out with something we haven't prepared for (AND THEY WILL), I want to see Ron and his staff adjust quickly. We can't afford to say "this is too hard, let's try again next week". We need to give everything physically and mentally for this game.

Actually, I assume people don't just want to talk poo and are actually fans of the game. My bad.

Not if you choose to distort it.  The quote above does not equal "He can't throw on us."

So, if you don't want to catch crap, don't distort.

and I stated that's not something a humble person would say.

Are you serious? He's supposed to say Cam should be able to beat them throwing the ball or some such?

Cam will be throwing against what is largely regarded as the best secondary in the game. I'll be shocked if they win this game by throwing against that group. How is is arrogant to say Cam probably can't beat them throwing into that secondary?

I'm unteachable, unreachable, rude, crude and socially unacceptable.

Thanks for trying.

Hey bro your girl would leave you to blow Cam in a heartbeat. How does that feel?

Get ready to be buttfuged tomrrow seacock.

    • At this rate, maybe he'll be a decent 8-9 QB on his 3rd HC by year 6. Standards are so low around here now. Tepper has done some serious damage to the fan base.
