The Canes have cheap tickets, consistently produce at a relatively high level, and have won a Stanley Cup (and went to another one) in their first decade in Raleigh. They have great ownership and an incredible relationship with the local area. I definitely think that the ranking is warranted, though I must admit that I am surprised that they were given it.
