Playing the NC Lottery

The jackpot ruins people, ironically.

The fish tank is the only surviving medium for the pet fish. Although it wants to be in the big waters, such change will kill it.

You gotta remember your environment before you wish upon your "ocean". There is a HUGE difference between a person who made a couple of millions and someone who woke up with it. Your friends, your family, your thinking, your decisions are all part of your current environment and jumping into the ocean separates you from all that, although you will have all the possessions and stimulus you have ever desired, it will become worthless.

I used to work in the ghetto and visit this one gas station very often and couldn't help but notice the common factor between all the people buying lottery tickets: laziness. Instead of action, they just hope and dream. The fantasy they would rather envision instead of make real.

I buy a ticket on very very  rare occasion, knowing the downside of winning of course. But my goals are much different than the majority of people. I would share it all and keep doing what i do, no big houses, no fancy cars.

I think I'd be willing to test that whole lottery ruined my life thing!

yes...I'm sure there would be copious amounts of change but I think I have enough restraint to minimize the probability of me being dead broke in 5 years!

first thing...I wouldn't be buying a suite at the game...way too much fun being down in the front row and being a part of the action!

I would Imagine that has more to do with where you were.  I work hard and I buy lottery tickets, my parents work hard and have their whole life and buy lottery tickets.  You seem to look on the downside of things huh? There are plenty of examples of people who won the lottery and were smart enough to know what to do with their money.
