Looking like Travelle Wharton and Chris Scott will split reps at LG vs. Seattle. Rivera says Garry Williams will start at RG.

Did Garry Williams start at RG last year against Seattle? I remember it looking pretty bad. But I think he'll be better this year

Good. Amini blows. I would take a out of shape Wharton over Amini.

Probably gonna rest Amini... It's not like we can risk putting him out there as it is. We have slim to no depth on that o-line. Good call imo not to play him if there's any slight doubt about his health.

Edit: it's gonna be a long season. We're going to need all they healthy players we can have come Feb

UPDATE:  RR Presser up on Panthers site and I heard no indication Tolbert wouldn't be ready.  May be a false alarm from JJ Twitter.

Rivera keeps talking about the end of the season last year on offense. He knows they screwed the pooch early.

 

Let's hope this means that if Shula craps the bed Rivera won't wait until week 6 to do something about it...

So Wharton wasn't able to cleanly beat Scott for the starting LG gig... yikes. 

 

This could just mean that Wharton isn't in good enough football shape yet to play a whole game... let's hope that's what it means.

Tolbert said before the Ravens games he would have played if it was the regular season.

He'll play Sunday.
