Help! Which RB Do I Start?

The Huddler

Recommended Posts

I need some advise.

I drafted Dez Bryant and Brandon Marshall with my first two picks, leaving me with some decent, but not sure fire starting running backs.

Darren Mcfadden

Montee Ball

Rashard Mendenhall

Chris Ivory

Im going to start DMC, but who should I start as my RB #2? Mendenall is the starter in Arizona, but my gut is telling me I should start Montee Ball.

Ill pie you if you give me a decent reply.

Word is Moreno and Hillman getting majority of work.  Moreno is the best blocking RB they have and you can be sure that Fox will attempt to protect Manning this first major game.  Hillman would be 3rd down back with Ball getting some goalline work.  If it were me, I'd avoid Denver RBs simply due to the fact you haven't a clue who will get the points.  Mendenhall is with Zona?  And their Oline just took a hit not too long ago right?  Good luck.  Ivory is with the Jets correct?  Super Ugh.  You need to get better RBs.

I'd hold my nose and go McFad and Ball.

Arizona is a pass heavy team... If Mendenhall gets 10 carries a game he'll be lucky. On top of that Arizona futures one of the worst OLs in football. Oakland have a horrible OL but McFadden is a full time starter plus he'll get 5-10 catches a game. Chris Invory was struggling all preseason and was move to #2 position last week. He will get 10-15 carries. Montee Ball is a wild card... He will get anywhere from 4 to 18 carries. Fox will go with hot RB... Who ever does well wiill get more carries. I'd start McFadden and Chris Ivory just because Bucs pass D is better than run D.

I'd go with Medenhall, Arians knows his QB isn't very good so he's going to lean a bit on the running game and utilize play action passes. Mendenhall should get around 15 carries if he stays healthy.

Further more St. Louis was middle of the road in rushing defense last season giving up almost 120 yards a game.
