Cam getting a C was expected as he's matured last season and came back better this preseason.

Captains are chosen by the players so this has no bearing on the front office . If beason will take a pay cut to reflect his production with an option for incentives( because he is the beast) he stays forever.

Beason being a captain doesn't make sense.He is coming off micro fracture surgery. He will miss a ton of practice and game snaps. He won't even be a 2 down linebacker with his injury.

They restructured Beason and part of it was his contract voiding at the end of the season. If Beason is back it will be on a brand new deal.

Yes, on a new deal that reflects his contributions. Low base pay with an option for performance incentives. If he is healthy and we let him walk, Getts will fall off. Beast doesn't ask for much so I'm sure he would be fine with an incentive laden contract.
