Rodriguez is the first player in MLB history to go at least seven innings while allowing three or fewer hits and one or fewer runs in each of his first two starts. He is also the first since 1920 to strike out seven or more batters while allowing three or fewer hits and one or fewer runs in each of his first two starts. So basically through two starts he is the best pitcher ever ☺

Not a bad start. Really hope he can keep it up once teams finally get a solid look at him and start figuring him out.

Really glad I haven't watched the previous couple of games. Even getting the ESPN alerts on my phone is painful enough.

It really has been terrible.  Cannot beat Baltimore to save their lives and Toronto feels like they have figured things out, which is very bad for the rest of the East.

Caught top prospect Yoan Moncada last night when the Greenville Drive played Hickory. Leadoff triple, scored a run. Grounded out and popped out twice. Made a few nice defensive plays. Overall he has a natural feel for the game. Signed a baseball for me after the game and took pictures and signed for whoever asked. I hope the best for him, seemed like a really good guy than enjoyed interacting with his fans. A lot of attention, but there should be for a guy that got a $31.5 million dollar bonus. Hopefully he works out well for the Sox.

Future 2B hopefully. Would like to see him move up to high A ball by year's end.

On June 20, 2015 the Sox were 30-40.  They were in last in the AL East, ten games behind Tampa.  They were also nine behind New York, seven behind Toronto, and six behind Baltimore

Here we are nineteen days later and the Sox are 41-45.  They are still last in the AL East, five games behind the Yankees, two-and-a-half games behind Baltimore, two games behind, Toronto, and only one game behind the once mighty Rays.

Records during that time:

Boston 11-4
New York 8-9
Baltimore 8-9
Toronto 7-11
Tampa Bay 3-15

Not sure what is going on but I like it.  This weekend's series is all of a sudden a big deal.  With the way things are going the ASB might be a sad break.
