It's no secret the Angels are desperate for a LF, there's not much available in mid may... outside of Revere (who I don't want) are the Sox done with JBJ?

I saw an article today that said the Mariners rejected a JBJ for Furbursh deal this past offseason. JBJ's value couldn't be lower, I'd love to give him a shot, at the very least he's a stud defensively

I would be in favor of trading him for the right return (something we have not gotten the past few trades). Castillo Hanley and Betts should lock down the OF for a few years, not sure he will ever get much of a shot here.

Would you take Masterson too?

I'm not trading JBJ for anything less than a major prospect. He is a gold glove defensive talent, and he could be a .270 to .290 hitter with 30-40 steals a year if he keeps developing. Preferably a pitching target too.

.290 is very optimistic for JBJ. But it'd be interesting to see what he could do without having to look over his shoulder when he's struggling. The Halos got no one so Bradley may be able to get more comfortable.

But yeah Goondal, the sox don't have room for him so I have to think they're open to moving him.

But I was thinking a bullpen prospect, if I have to watch Matt Joyce play for much longer I'm going end it

definitely is optimistic, but i think that his floor is a .260 hitter, and with his defensive skills i would be disappointed if we trade him for an average player just because we have depth at OF.

Pitching sure has improved in recent games, if only the bats could wake up. nice to see castillo get called up. Thinking that we are gonna wait until some team (probably Marlins, maybe Padres) gives up and starts selling off their players (preferably younger pitchers) and we package some players together for them.
