GM likes what he's seeing out of Newton

That's really a lot of work. He needs to remember to check down since we have enough down field plays in the play book. He wasn't good about that at the beginning of last season which led to 2nd and 3rd and long situations. Also led to interceptions at times. I guess someone put that in his suggestion box because the second half of the season wasn't a problem for him.

I personally am ready for him to finish his degree so he can focus on nothing but football. The strides he took during the lockout being able to do nothing but football did wonders. While going to school is great, we need to see that dedication again.

That's really a lot of work... but I think Cam can handle it.

Nice, I'd like to see Cam take better care of the ball, meaning throwing less interceptions, controlling the game and not overthrowing open receivers. I think his errand throws are more fault to his footwork or not setting his feet before the throw...

I have to laugh at this comment after seeing the new NFLN commercial where they talk about themselves being so good at what they do that fans simply regurgitate everything they hear them say about these players. They then show a clip of a woman regurgitate, verbatim, what she heard on NFLN, about RG III, to a male neighbor wearing a Cam Newton Panther's jersey.

 

If these guys criticize these players, everyone then feel it's their job to do the same. If they endlessly praise them, everyone seems to follow. Amazing!!!

We all know that and I think in all honesty that Cam Newton is probably a harsher critic of himself than any armchair GM on this board.
