eric davis patted me on the head one time when i was really young and then he proceeded to dunk on a police officer in a nfl players vs cops game in the bay area

When my son (now a UNC Junior--time flies) was 3, Eric had just been signed and OTAs were in Rock Hill.  He had a bad thigh, but he got down on one knee to pose for a picture with him,  Davis could not get up-I had to help him.  About 6 years ago I bumped into ED at a high school football game (Catholic) and chatted with him.  -- he remembered the bruised thigh, not my son. Great guy

Once, after a practice, my son was 3 years old, and Kevin Greene (I had asked him to pose with my son) walked up behind him to grab him for the photo.  My saw him out of the corner of his eye and took off running.  Greene grabbed his hat, but my son eluded the pressure.  So my son says he scrambled out of the grasp of perhaps the Panthers best sack artist in team history.

Buddy of mine gave his son a military themed 13th birthday party (little fella says he wants to be a Nave Seal) and served as the party's 'drill sergeant'. I was along for the ride.

In the spirit of things, I told the partygoers they made Gomer Pyle look like Rambo.

They had no idea who I was talking about

Was the boy named Ian and races Karts?
