i hate it when pundits frame a matchup as quarterback vs. quarterback when in reality it's quarterback versus defense. i get what they're trying to say but "can peyton beat flacco in a toe-to-toe matchup" is a silly way of putting it

Very fair assessment.  IMO where the Panthers should be to start the season.  Not this nonsense like 28, or the unwarranted homerism of being in the top half

Panthers are a tough team to figure out…I wouldn't be shocked if they finished 5-11 or 10-6. Love their front 7 but lot of ?'s on offense

I used to care what the rest of the league and the media thought of us. Always caring what espn would say and nfl live and the papers and the radio and all that crap.

I've realized that even when u are one of the best in the league they still won't give u props. Look at the Super Bowl run we had. Still was given no props or respect.

I have no hope nor do I care what the media thinks. We all know how foolish they are and how dumb they look the majority of the time. I know what my team is capable of. I know they will show everyone when the time comes and even then it won't matter bc it's ESPN and the media are not very smart.

So enjoy being underdogs. Enjoy whipping the Seahawks and watching espn mumble to themselves........ Wut? Carolinaz is goodz?

Is it seriously this easy to be a sports journalist?  Right or wrong, I have more respect for predictions with committment instead of this on-the-fence bullshit.
