Top 3 reasons why Carolina will beat the Seahawks

The Seahawks are a very small/quick defense. This concerns me because our top RB right now is Deangelo Williams and both our backups are speed guys. What I want to see is a healthy Tolbert running people over. I want to see us establish a power run up the gut. We can't beat them around the edge unless our big boys can pull well. Amini was probably our best pulling guard and he looks like a scratch.

charlotte observer says if amini is healthy he will start http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2013/09/02/4282803/silatolu-if-healthy-will-start.html#.UiduXjBBmRw

Carolina tries to run Dwill up the gut which won't work forcing Cam to throw it on third and long. Wilson avoids our rush rolling out and dicing up our weak secondary. Eventually our D wears out and Hawks ground and pound to finish off the game. Hawks 27 Panthers 10.

I hope this doesn't happen but anyone who thinks this may not happen is simply a homer.

we should be able to push their small dline, and get some running. No huge numbers, but enough.

How about a top three reasons why you won't beat us

1. You guys have no offense, get some runningbacks and young wide outs not named washed up Smitty then we can talk.

2. Cam won't pass on the Legion of Boom. No shot at all. Kaep can't even pass on us, and he's better than Can.

3. We are just overall better. Better defense, better offense, better special teams.

The truth hurts.. but it's facts.

pure comedy.

lol. facts?

1. No offense? Under Newton we finsihed 7th and 12th offensively.....and have been one of the most explosive if not the most explosive offense the last 2 years (plays of 20+). Consistancy is our issue....but to claim we haven't had offense is you choosing to ignore facts.

2. Opinion....Cam is doing historical stuff, 2 years in his overall production is unmatched. CK hasn't even played a full season

3. Will you have better D on the field than us Sunday? Debatable, we are improved and you injured Offense? Based on what? Clearly not fact based. Hawk O isn't impressive...D assists them greatly.

Uhh a little reality check..

The Seahawks had 3 turnovers last year, one returned for a touchdown. So 7 of your 12 points was gift wrapped to you.

Cam Newton and the offense had an awesome 190 yards of offense filled with Sacks.

Steven Smith was shut down (4 catches, 40 yards) by sherm..

Russell Wilson was on training wheels and the Seahawks were having a hard time scoring touchdowns.

Russell Wilson has had a full training camp free of restrictions and has built chemistry with his teammates. Cam still pouts when things don't go his way.

The Panthers still don't have any complementary help of smith on the outside. (Seahawks will put eight in a box and dare Smith to throw as another poster suggested). SInce nothing has changed how in the world will the Panthers even move the ball? Btw your guard situation is in flux ... With the Seahawks speed and a crowded box there will be nowhere to run for your running backs or Newton.

Wilson will eat your secondary up. The Panthers can't stop the pass and Hardy will go against Okung (who was an all pro bowler last year).

I do like Luke. I think he will cause some problems in the running game but while he is chasing Lynch or Wilson he won't be covering receivers as well. If the Hawks have any running game this will be a blow out. Our line is healthy and will resume practicing. Our pass rush is a work in progress but Cam will not get the luxury of sitting in the pocket because he will be blitzed and your receivers will be forced to make plays. Not a good recipe for a win but hey it is week 1 and crazy things happen during the first week.

The Panthers offense was in dissaray the entire first half of the season, it didn't have much to do with the Seahawks.

We are hoping our new OC will learn from that and simplify the gameplan and just let our guys go out there and play football.

If that happens, I see 3 scores for the Panthers.
