Amini back at Practice

He looked very good vs Pittsburgh. I know he played against a lot of back ups, but coming off an ACK and a whole year away I was pleasantly surprised.

Thing is though he only played a quarter or 2, lasting a whole game against starting caliber players is a totally different story and he probably needs a week or 2 to get back into 100% football shape unfortunately for us. (At least that's my theory.)

That was partially my point. People are acting as though he's fully back and just not good enough to start 2 weeks after returning.

He played well, but there's a lot more to it at this point.

wharton must have fallen off in the skillz dept. more than we're assuming then... no way wharton is a backup if he's a better player than williams.

I don't know about that.

My guess is the coaches like the younger guards.

They want them to continue to develop, and gel with the other guys.

While my Panther pride says Wharton should be starting, I'm beginning to feel he was only brought in to be a quality, versatile backup that can also provide solid veteran guidance.
