Amini back at Practice

It's just a hamstring right or more serious?

Hammy very serious for a lineman.  You can't use ur lower body with leverage with even a slightly bum hammy, u'll pull it again for sure if you get engaged on from an awkward angle.

Also Bruce Irvin is facing suspension I believe so he won't be there.

I think our final OL = Gross Wharton Kalil Amini Bell

Wharton has just too much proven success in that setup to risk switching it up.

That right side of the Seahawk DL is hurting. Bruce Irvin suspended 4 games. Cliff Avril's sore hamstring. Chris Clemons just now returning to practice after tearing his ACL late last season. Michael Bennett having a sore toe thru training camp.

Something to game plan for.

According to that article they have several defensive end issues. Hopefully we can expose that weakness even if Cliff plays. Based on their injuries in that article I think they will give him a go.

Was he impressive with Detroit ?

I see he averaged 8.5 sacks but could he hold up against the run?

It's a hamstring but he has battled it all training camp and reinjured it just last week.

I'll take it. I know people talk about wanting to play teams at full strength but this is the nfl, I'll take a win anyway I can get it.

Russell Wilson is the only qb in NFL history to throw a game winning interception.

Even with regular refs that would have been ruled a touchdown.  Both players had their hands on the ball when they hit the ground, which qualifies as a simultaneous reception which is ruled to go to the offense.

It happened with us too in the '05 playoffs vs chicago.  Jake threw a duck of a bomb to smith that went right into the hands of Vasher I think?  Either way it went right into the defenders hands and smith went up after him and got his hands on the ball.  Ruled a catch for smith.

The nfl knew that was a terrible call. That's why the next day the real refs were back.

There was already a whole heck of a lot of pressure to bring back the regular refs.  This was just overblown by the media as a finalized reason to end the strike.

You can use your own personal judgement.  Watch the play on youtube or something with the rules on simultaneous catches on hand.  It's pretty clear that BY THE RULES its a touchdown.  Common sense says its a pick, but common sense does not outweigh the rules.
