If you knew anything about the NFL you would know that a lot of vets that are cut in the offseason don't sign til after training camp or even after the season because they are holding out to see who will give them the best offer after all the teams evaluate their younger players and their offseason development. 

Yes, I know. I'm pretty old so I've been an nfl fan for a long time.  But 6 days before the first regular season game seemed to be a little long for a vet to hold out.

Q is exactly the piece this D has been missing. There are no more glaring weaknesses on that side of the ball. This is legitimately a top tier defensive unit in the league. No more doubts about t.

i think this really just turned our largest weakness on defense (CB2 is arguably the other one) into one of the defense's biggest strengths.

 

cam and co. have to be happy about this as well. more stops/turnovers for the defense = more shots at the endzone for them.
