I will say this does out an extra pep in my step for the day though. I'd still like to see us bring in one of those vet O-linemen though.

Mother of god I should have picked up the Panthers D in my FFL this year...ugh...

I caught all kinds of hell for being the first to take a D in both leagues I'm in. Both times I got the Panthers. I regret nothing.

Picked up the 49's in the 14th round as well. So I have the 49's and Panthers to play with depending on opponent.

i'm definitely not nostradamus but i did notice when the panthers didn't give out #27 during camp or after cuts.  great signing.  replacing nakamura with mikell greatly increases the competency at S.

 

Good catch, I hadn't noticed that. But like you, I had an inkling this was in the works. 

 

We had 3 FS and just 1 SS on the roster after cuts, and we only signed 7 to the PS, leaving us room to move one of the young guys off the 53 for a potential pickup.  Quintin seemed like the most likely target.

 

This should be a really solid defense.

Pretty obvious this was always his destination. He just didn't want to deal with camp, and the panthers were hoping they could catch lightning in a bottle during it.

I play in a league where its 65 percent Panthers fans. SO all the Panthers players were taken a bit higher than they should have. I got Houstons D though. I am content. I may have to trade for the Panthers D. I am that Homerish..

i picked up panthers d and keek in one of my leagues, which raised some eyebrows while it raised something else for me. ultimate sleeper unit haha

I don't see how we can leave Mitchell in there ahead of him... well, I'm sure Mitchell won't appreciate working all TC and preseason only to have Mikell come in and start, lol.
