At least he has one to remember unlike someone on this team who plays wr.......... (Cough cough ARMANTI)

Gettis played receiver his entire college and high school career. Armanti made the squad as the 3,4 ,5 wide receiver, unlike Gettis. If Gettis was that much better Armanti would've been cut. We have a new GM and totally new regime since he was drafted so what's your excuse now? Hurney magic from the proverbial grave? No, he has the it factor that Gettis does not have

Unrelated but I can't start topics- 

 

The last game I went to was 2004 where I was able to scalp lower level tickets for $20 each.

 

In recent years how hard is to scalp tickets outside the stadium?  And what should I expect to pay for lower level seats? upper level?

 

Also should I be worried about the tickets being fake?  How can I tell?

He praised Armanti last year, too, and he still contributed nothing.

 

Bullsh!t. He didn't exactly have many opportunites and yes he contributed on the few  occassions that his number was called.

good question i'm waiting on the answer as well because if your on the outside looking in and you don't bring up gettis rookie year he still out performed ae in the preseason, don't get me wrong ae does outperform gettis in practice and TC but if that was the case why not cut him after or during TC not a knock on ae but he never has shown anything besides TC other then that 90 yard catch and that return

That's your opinion. The guy who has almost 30 years in this business overrides it.

Not to mention the 31 other GM's in this league that didn't bother to put in a waiver claim for Gettis.

we will see if this was the right decision everyones not perfect it's hard to ignore gettis this preseason from a production stand-point but as far them feeling if he was healthy enough idk so that could be a thing as well but as far as ae being better then gettis that's far fetched and i don't have to have 30 years of experience to see that.

Contrast that to Armanti who has actually worked on his game and improved, looking good in camp and preseason. Even Hixon who missed almost all of camp and preseason beat out Gettis. Yet it's all everyone elses fault, not his.

not saying it was or wasn't his fault the subject is starting to shift, if you go purely on preseason play which is the majority of times team evaluate players gettis out shined both hixon and ae, in no way am i saying he should take hixons spot but as far as him vs ae which the other poster brought up i just don't see ae being a better player then gettis i have no doubt ae has put in the work but the results aren't showing as of lately eager to see what he does this season

All of that, yet Gettis still played better than AE in the preseason? I think you're proving the point of Gettis supporters.
