As far as I'm concerned since this is year 3 of Armanti as just a WR, this is Armanti's make it season. It's the first legit chance he has to make an impact on the roster as a WR. 

 

I happen to think he'll surprise everyone and have like 30-40 catches for like 500 yards and 3-4 touchdowns. That's just me though, the guy who can't evaluate Wr's or NFL players at all. 

 

Yes of course Armanti gave everybody a 3 year head start before showing his real talent.

New coaches, new system, new OC, rookie quarterback, and AE still needed to develop into a new position.

You tell me how high of a priority Armanti becoming a WR was in 2011.

sooooooooo tired of the 3rd string vs 2nd poo you get your playing time when the coach puts you in and you bust whosoevers ass is in front of you to make the roster ae and gettis did that but gettis clearly out shined ae........when gettis played with the 1's during the ravens game he cause what i believe is 2 illegal contact penalties that extended the drive he also lined upwrong from what i heard and had a drop.....but no people still wanna keep up this he shined vs 3rd string players or car shop managers blah blah blah they get payed to it's simple as that and the position he was fighting for didn't require him to beat darelle revis or richard sherman like a drum or any other premier cb in the league

Hunter is listed as the 4th/5th WR on the the Titans right now and has done nothing in preseason or camps to make a move up the roster. He has hands of stone, doesn't understand the tree route system or realize what down he's on and where the ball needs to get.

I realize that but it was never a decision between Gettis or Armanti. But, the Gettis supporters feel it is relevant to bash AE in their arguments.

respect... but he is the worst left... lol at the end of the day we need healthy players that make plays. that nice guy stuff played out with Fox. That's why we can't make the playoffs. A nice guy is cool to drive a drunk friend home but  we need attitude and skill on the field. Smitty and Hardy prove this theory

Remember all the tweets in TC about all the Gettis dropped passes and everyone saying he clearly was probably not going to make the team?

Now people are shocked he didn't make it bc of a couple of catches in games that coaches don't really care about

If you are dropping the ball in shorts why should you make the team? Armanti looked good in shorts and in his limited preseason action.

Gettis looked like poo in shorts and had drops in games.

I am shocked people are shocked he got cut.

The only argument is average stats and really only one good game three years ago (in which even then he had a huge drop that cost us the game). Back when he also had issues with drops.

you have to admit the front office and coaching staff think Armanti is a better player than Gettis right now. That is a fact.

He has none. But he is a better talent and was more productive in Preseason games.
