Soccer: Last Day Transfer Window Madness

Twitter will explode tomorrow at around 8am EST time.  Usually about 85% of all transfers are done in the last 12 hours of transfer window.

 

Last year teams spent combined of almost $1 billion dollars in the last day of transfer window.  The number projected to be much higher this year with players like Kaka, Di Maria, Ozil, Rooney, Fellaini, Nani, Mata, Drexler, Dzeko and many other super stars are expected to find a new home.

 

This is one of the most excited days in soccer.

It's official! Bale to Real Madrid. Now Madrid can start off loading their excess players.

Happy that it's finally over.  Selfishly I hope Ozil is still a Madrid player after tomorrow, but with Isco excelling at the CAM position it won't surprise me if he wants to move on.  Just happy the Bale drama is over so we can move on.  There's some rumors that they're going hard after Suarez still, so we'll see if anything happens there.  Also, it sounds like Coentrao may end up staying another year (or at least until January transfer window)...

I still don't know why they would pay that much for Bale. Surely, he's class but that's just ridiculous.
