Do The Post-Cut Positional Numbers Mean a Shift in Philosophy?

It means we had more talent at one position over the other.

No it means there was dead weight at certain positions that we used to fill depth at others.

i think  it means more that we have a weak OL so we've got to take up 10 or 11 spots there and we are going to be running nickel packages so we need more DBs.

 

i think also it means they might be trying to turn brandon williams into a bigger receiving option so we kept more TEs.

Cam is still the QB....and Shula knows what he can do. He got Chud a HC gig. He is that awesome. Shula won't sit on that

I agree but big difference between coaching Cam vs. the entire offense. Cam is not our offense he is our QB, regardless of his first two years, he'll have to play less a role in some areas for us to actually win some games.

 

I hope Shula can do it, just have to wait and see.

My point being Stewart factored into the numbers whether he was active or not, so by keeping Smith, we technically kept 5.

Brockel mainly plays FB on GL blocking plays and such, so he basically counts as a FB since that's where they list him now position wise.
