Goodbye David Gettis

There is no glee in this. What some of you are not looking at is that at the end of the day, we are a less talented and  a lot shallower at the position of wide receiver with Gettis being cut.  The disappointment is not solely about Gettis, but the fact that we kept an older injury prone journeyman, and a project that the coach has said was a preseason superstar (finally after a couple of years), but has done nothing in the regular season since he's been a pro, but be a teacher's pet.

Sorry guys, when I look at our WR depth now, without Gettis it looks like a whole bunch of smoke and mirrors.

THIS times 1 million... I thought we were going to be deep at WR going into the season for the first time ever. Now I feel like we're one injury away from being in some trouble.

I guess they lost patience with Gettis. It's the only thing that makes sense. I wonder... Behind closed doors.. How easy or hard this decision was?

You are being entirely too overdramatic.
