i wouldn't be surprised to see someone start posting that this is just rivera's way of being vindictive and keeping him in his doghouse because he still can't get over gettis getting in his face or something.

Other players from other teams have reached injury settlements recently.

I would think that if that was our intention, it already would have happened.

If not claimed (and it looks like he was not) he reverts to IR. At which point he can stay on IR all season long or both parties can come to an injury settlement and David will be cut and become a FA.

no clue, but clausen was put on IR as well, at least according to caplan.

 

i'm kind  of losing interest in either guy and ready to move on. both guys are quickly turning into footnotes of the 2010 season.

I find it comedic that my argument as to why Gettis may never have seen the field is now being used as though it is illogical.
