So Gettis knew the playbook his rookie year and 2nd year when he was tore his ACL, when he was gonna be the number 2 receiver but now he don't know the playbook

He was ready last year and Rivera didn't want to put him and Gettis challenged his weak ass authority and here we are now. #truth

Hey guys we haven't talked enough about what Gettis did three years ago. Let's cover it one more time.

1) John Fox's 2010 playbook was the equivalent of a highschool playbook.

2)He was not guaranteed to be the number 2. In fact all reports were that Lafell was having, by far, the better camp. All people who assume that Gettis was the defacto number 2 going into that year were/are doing themselves a disservice.

3)Your last statement is completely bullshit conjecture.

Gettis had everybody beat in 2011 until he tore his ACL, he was smokin past everyone

My last statement was truth. Gettis was ready. Rivera refused to let him in and they exchanged words

How do you know he was actually ready and knew the playbook and everything that was being asked of him? You don't know one does but team officials. Sure Gettis thought he was ready, but that doesn't actually mean he was.

Yea that was completely untrue. Both Gettis and LaFell struggled to start with and Gettis progressed more than LaFell the first year. Yet it is fun to make up stories to make yourself seem right.

All we need to know is that Edwards beat Gettis, Hixon and Ginn Jr. out for the 3rd WR spot. Then Hixon beat out Gettis for the legit last WR spot because Ginn Jr. is mostly going to be a returner and occasional deep threat in this offense.

I would be willing to wager based on his skill set and the fact our scheme doesn't use many WRs. Ginn could see the 3rd most snaps

We are talking about 2011 not 2010. Go back and read the threads. Everyone was pissed that Lafell was getting more number two reps than Gettis, but it was because, according to reports, that Lafell was performing better all throughout OTA's and early Training Camp, before he got hurt.
