Speaking of special teams aces, 49ers just let go of Kassim Osgood.

 

He has Rivera ties from his Charger days.  Don't know if he's as good as he used to be though (age 33 now).

Yea players shouldn't count their eggs until a couple days before week 1.

i wonder how he keeps this reputation of being a ST ace....he sure sucked last year

 

yeah, he did, but he stuck out more to me this year.  By no means is he this enigmatic "STs ace" people love to talk about.. 

 

2 main reasons: I've seen him take some hard hits so if he doesn't shy away from contact and you have nothing to lose by him getting injured, and they have played him quite consistently on STs then I'm just going to assume he would have either been cut already or they plan to keep him around...

 

I think he'll stick..  despite how much we all want to move on from our nightmares last year.

That's not saying much considering one guy was a rookie. I wouldn't rule out us bringing in another RB.

Hopefully Armond won't be kicking anymore guys in the nuts, on the field at least.
