What Seahawks fans are saying...

nice to meet you, welcome man

Can you tell me a little about your Offense other than the pieces that would be obvious to us? We're gonna probably know your major threats but who has been climbing in preseason or who should we be scared of most that we dont know about?

Scared?  Perhaps.  There's too many uncertainties this time of year to definitively say this or that guy, but, I have a real good feeling about Tate this year; it should prove to be his breakout season.  Been watching this game for many years, at it seems that WR and O linemen take about the same amount of seasoning to "get it".  Rice is solid and good to go; some questions initially about his knee but he seems to have worked through it.  Baldwin is a reliable slot/third down option who has some wheels.  The two wild cards in the receiving corps are Kearse and Williams.  Kearse (aka chop-chop) had the dropsies last year but had Lasik and it seems to have helped quite a bit.  Williams is a big, fast target who can stretch the field and made some amazing catches in the pre-season.  That being said, it was pre-season but he just might have the tools to make 2-3 plays a game as a rookie.

Our backfield is pretty much set with Lynch.  He has some help this year with Michael who appears to be Lynch Jr.  We'll see.  Turbin is solid with good hands.

Then we come to Russell.  This guy is unflappable.  It remains to be seen if he's going to be one of the greats, but man he's got the tools.  Given his work ethic and preparation, I think it's highly unlikely for him to be subjected to the dreaded "sophmore slump".  Quite the opposite I believe.  Despite the media noise, we really don't run the read option (it accounted for roughly 5% of our plays last year) but when he does run, he's very cognizant of protecting himself.  You know the old saying; Touchdown, First Down, Get Down.  He doesn't take unecessary hits.

Again, should be a good test for our respective teams.  We're both in tough divisions so every game counts.

Wilson looked very "flapable" against a mediocre Green Bay defense this preseason. Don't think to highly of your team now..

We're expecting a good season with a deep playoff run, but noone is ready to crown themselves king. Wilson didn't look good against GB, but better than the stat line indicates in which I would say. But to counter your arguement, look at what he did the game before and the game after as a better indication to him. I don't want to come off as rude, but it's easy to nitpick a bad game to make someone look bad and not include other games where they did good. Wilson isn't perfect obviously, but he's letting hawk fans be very catiously optomistic about the future.

our starting oline is a turnstyle. they're not just "thin past the starters" they're terrible

That's an inaccurate statement. Our worst player from last season is gone. We upgraded at G with Wharton, Kalil is back and Amini is WAY ahead of where he was last season.

I get exaggerated statements for the sake of effect, but that's just fuging stupid.

Gee, these Seahawks fans sound like us last year before the opener at Tampa. We woke up that day and they will wake up comming sunday. Looking forward to the game and our O showing the whole playbook for the first time. And yeah, our front seven will give us some joy either. Can´t wait...
