top 5 Defense, bottom 10 Offense

Ravens were the ideal offense for our D....

The weeks we play teams like NE, Philly etc.....is the time reality will set in. Up tempo and don't try to set up the long ball....basically they neutralize a DL and your D gets tested.

 

You're putting to much into the Philly game. Where they didn't game plan and were playing a offense they haven't seen before.

 

 

I would also suggest we see that offense when people aren't playing vanilla coverages and Vick and Foles have to make those quick decision while having to read the defense.

LaFell is a pretty bad #2 if not one of the worst in the league.

LaFell isn't anywhere near the worst 2 in the league. Even missing 2 games him numbers were among the average got 2's.

We didn't have to play Philly....the comment stands purely looking at schemes. Teams that run a vertical pass offense allow defensive lines chances to make plays.

Some offenses flat out neutralize and limit the opportunity a good DL gets vs others.

Lafell is NOT the worst #2 in the league that's just laughable.

DWill is not "done" his offensive line needs to do him better though.

Charles Godfrey is not turrible. The ? Is beside him though. Not an F in anyway.

Far too pessimistic a view of this team as a whole. Just like every year the perceived strength will not be as dominant as we think and our perceived weakness will not be as bad as we think.

Who are you and where is all the negativity coming from? Did you know we still have Greg Olsen? How about Mike Tolbert or Cam Newton. Our play calling has been vanilla enough for it to be called out in an NFL network article as one of the most plain in all of preseason. Relax.

This is the idiocy the runs rampant through the fan base. People who obviously don't rewatch the games, sans emotion, and get a clear picture of what's actually happening.

we have a lot of scrubs on offense, the last time we had a good o-line was in 2008, and the last time we had 2 legit receivers was when moose was here.

Not to many teams will be able to dink and donk their way down the field 4-5 times without making a mistake.

Anything like that will stifle a drive and make them have to take chances. Which plays into our Defense game plan.

 

I also like to point out that better tackling (which we have alot of good tacklers) and short Gains hurt these offenses as well.

Saying it multiple times doesn't make it true. Lafell finished in line with the average numbers for #2 receivers across the board. I know you think every team should have a Fitzgerald/Boldin combo but that just doesn't happen. DWill is fine and still better than most, and I'm not exactly sure what you've been watching but I can't see where Godfrey is as bad as you say.

Anyway, watch out for falling sky. Keep your head on a swivel.
