If we signed a cut from another team is it subject to waivers or is that dependent on their time in the league? For instance, Jake Scott... if we wanted him, do we have to sign him or see if we got him in waivers?

We've got to be making some moves...

If he's got enough experience he becomes a FA, otherwise it's all the wavier wire. You've got put in a claim and then wait and see if the player made it to you.

Robert Lester is on the Panther's Practice Squad, likely the same with James Shaw as well.

 

 

 

That means, Lester, Shaw and Bersin are on the PS so far.

OL Braxton Cave claimed by the Patriots. That means a few OL players have made it past Carolina's claim spot now.

As @angdicarlowndu reported, Patriots have claimed OL Braxton Cave (Notre Dame) on waivers, colleague @FieldYates confirms. Was with Browns.

Yeah I think it's important we carry 6 receivers, definitely not banking on Hixon's health. I think we have a better chance of finding someone now rather than go dumpster diving in a couple weeks if someone gets hurt. I'm hoping for Lavelle Hawkins but I know it's a long shot.

Seems like we're signing our own guys to the PS. The FO and scouts must know something we don't. I trust Gettleman... I just don't get this Gettis thing. I wish they would tell us the real deal with him
