Bengals release former starting right tackle Dennis Roland (big fella, 6'9, 315; might do a little research on him).

 

And the Pats have let go of one of the better names in the league, punter Zoltan Mesko.

DE Jermaine Cunningham from the Pats is a shocker...Bill is has to cut a few guys that play well but are replacable to get everyone in line.  It works!

Dennis Roland is a name that might be interesting for depth. Good size, said to have long arms, fair amount of experience starting at right tackle, up there a little (30) but not terribly old by NFL standards.

Update: The Cincinnati Bengals tried to release FB John Conner, but when the team's "turk" came to get him, Conner reportedly planted an explosive device on him, yelled "hasta la vista baby" and ran away. The Bengals employee is now dead and Conner's whereabouts are unknown.

The Eagles are letting go of their 2011 first rounder, G Danny Watkins.

 

File it under "there's probably a reason" but it might be worth a look at him (depth, at least).

 

Gettleman would certainly be familiar with him from a divisional standpoint.
