Update: The Cincinnati Bengals tried to release FB John Conner, but when the team's "turk" came to get him, Conner reportedly planted an explosive device on him, yelled "hasta la vista baby" and ran away.  The Bengals employee is now dead and Conner's whereabouts are unknown.

He didn't play the last 2 pre season games and it says he was inactive due to a knee injury, so I'm guessing that's why

I recall them having receiver injury issues too.  If they're dumping him in the midst of that, not a good sign :(
