True story: I took my wife to the home game against the Saints last year. She begged me to pick out a t-shirt or jersey for her. Got her a nice generic shirt, black with team color accents on the shoulders, says "Carolina Panthers" on it with the logo. Between then and now, there was one day that I bitched to no end about my work day. I mean just everything was going wrong and I let her have it, as it were. She, meanwhile, had the day off. Keep in mind, this is a woman who before she had met me had never watched a game of football except the 2003 Super Bowl.

I came home that day to her is a g-string and the Panthers shirt I picked out. I've bought plenty of lingerie for her to wear, but she picks that to greet me with. I won't go into further detail on what happened here because fug you, that's my wife.

What I'm trying to say is, yes, blue and black is the sexiest thing a woman can wear.

My wife is a Pats fan but hates Tom Brady. She thinks he looks like a serial killer and she said he is a bigger baby than Cam. And we go to my dad's bout every weekend during the season. She is usually more entertained by my dad yelling, "Sack em'! Sack em'!" But last night she looked at me and said, "I was gonna clean during the game......but for some reason......I wanna watch it." I almost cried......it was a special moment.

P.S. She is really awesome. Hasn't given me crap about a game. They are not all bad. Been with her for 4 years. Never had a real fight, but we both act like we got sense. Makes it so much easier. Jus sayn. Lol!

I solved my problem of dating opposing team fans by dating a girl who's not a football fan at all.

 

She has stated, for the record, that she will never interfere with my enjoyment of the game because she knows I love it.

 

She even suggested that if we get a house together, I should have a "Panthers room" :D

I set up a Google calendar on her phone/tablet for my wife so she knows the dates and times of when I'll be in la la land for relevant football, baseball, basketball, and racing events.
