Norman has to play with less cushion before earning his starting spot back. 10 yard buffers just don't work in the regular season.

It is to a point, but I doubt they tell him to give a 10 yard cushion on a 3 & 5, repeatedly.

I'm one of his biggest supporters, but that is an obvious weakness of his.

Norman picks off a third string QB and is for some reason still in the game. He played against starters last year, he should be expected to do this when playing with scrubs. The problem is he's playing with scrubs. And Jay Cutler sucks too.

that pass breakup deep down the left sideline was a thing of beauty. he showed great awareness by locating the ball, accelerating, and tipping it at the last second without mugging the receiver.

Until Drayton gets abused for a few painful weeks.

Norman is what you want with a great front and so so secondary talent . At least he has big play potential and will gamble.....that is how you cash in on your front.

Drayton has always been a big play guy, I think it should be him and one of the Josh's with cap playing nickel

Positioning and alignment is pretty basic stuff. They practice / study this everyday. 

 

No player that WANTS to play is gonna lineup and play anything other than what the coaches want. 

 

90% of Norman playing off was due to scheme.

I think porn shop clerk got this one. he never  had a front 7 like this in front of him. thats certianly helps with his raw talent and ability
