Official UNC vs SC Gameday Thread

First time in a decade they beat unc. By 3 points. What do you think is going to happen this year?

ECU will be on cable TV this Saturday.

Duke won't.

Discredit that victory if you want,  I'm proud Duke's football team is developing.  Cutcliffe has done a great job and i'm sure even you can admit that.

Too early to tell what will happen this year, you never know.

I don't mind ECU, what's your point?

Yeah ... how'd that work out for ya?

Announcers dancing around like school girls for Clowney. While Clowney is obviously a great athlete, imagine if he had been on the field the entire game. But I'm not impressed by SCs offense scoring ten points the rest of the way despite the offensive line they have. Elliot has done a great job with SCs front lines since he's been there.

Imagine if Clowney hadn't been ailing ... word was he was suffering from a stomach virus. (I'm not impressed with the latter performance of the OL, either, but hey, we did win the game. No stomping of anybody's cock last night.)

Cutcliffe has the best FB coaching job in the entire country. Absolutely ZERO expectations. I'm surprised he wasn't offered a lifetime contract after the UNC game last year.

Personally, I'm shocked that an unranked ACC school that lost its best player to the NFL was beat by the #6 team in the country on their home turf.

As good as USC looked last night, if they lose at UGA next week they're basically playing for a Gator Bowl invite the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, UNC has its hardest game off the schedule. Not many teams in the country can say that.

I hope Clowney was just sick and not that bad in shape. No way he can be. Sure it was one of the more hotter nights during this very very mild summer and that might have had something to do with his energy level.

right now, he needs to ride a bike at least 45 mins a day and run suicides every other day to get his cardio up and keep his bursts strong.

plus I'm sure the Ole Ball Coach didn't want to show too much for Georgia.

I didn't realize how bad Georgia has it. They really could start of 0-2 which would ruin their year.

He should've been doing suicides and riding the bike last February. It's too late for that, the week is a time for healing and not for killing yourself trying to get in better shape, it's a long season my friend. He was stonewalled last night, even if he did disrupt the entire flow of the offense I think the game went about as most people expected.

USC is loaded on defense, their secondary can cover and tackle. It's to bad that Clowneys lack of effort and big mouth over-shadowed a solid defensive effort, against a potent offense. Heck many times they were playing with 10 guys on D!

UNC could've laid down early after going down by 17, to their credit they didn't. The muffed punt was a huge momentum shift, at that point the USC D was gassed. Thought Renner rushed a lot of throws by expecting pressure, that wasn't there. IMO AJ Blue opened the door for Francis and or Logan on the depth chart.

I think UGA rolls on Clemson tomorrow. Clemson, just like FSU, is overrated on a yearly basis. They both benefit by playing in a weak ACC. Can you imagine what would have happened if FSU had to play UGA instead of Northern Illinois (who didnt even have their HC who took the job at NC State) in the orange bowl last year? Yikes!

Still Clemson has the ability to score points. A lot of them. And it really shows you how bad ass the dawgs are that they're willing to take on such an OOC challenge despite playing in a brutal SEC.

One thing about college FB is if you are going to lose lose early.
