Try winning another one now w/o a run game.

Lacy could very well be the guy...

Ted Thompson isn't a super drafter by any means but I sure would let him draft our WRs for a season or 2.

Jennings, Jones, Nelson, Cobb...someone over there knows WRs if nothing else.

Other teams like the Broncos, Colts, Patriots, Green Bay etc. have been trying to find a competent RB for years. They still can't run the ball effectively.

I'm sure they would love to trade their competence in winning games with the KCs and the Carolinas for their competence when it comes to the running game if they had the chance

Idiots act like we had a history of finding productive RBs through the low rounds of the draft.

Guess where Davis, Foster, Dwill, and Stew came from??? Def not from the middle of the draft.

how many winning seasons has that netted us?

We have ranked in the top 10 in rushing each of he last two seasons (3rd & 9th respectively).

Just because they have had to split carries 4 ways does not mean they haven't been effective.

People look at Arian Foster and Alfred Morris and think "You can get a great RB anywhere"

Those guys are exceptions, not the rule.

Other teams like the Broncos, Colts, Patriots, Green Bay etc. have been trying to find a competent RB for years.  They still can't run the ball effectively.

But they have amazing QBs so people look at them and think "See you don't need good running backs to be good.  All you need is one of the three or four greatest QBs ever to play football."

Stevan Ridley looked pretty good last year for the Pats.

As far as the RB anywhere goes...its more you don't have to spend very high picks to get a good/great one.

McCoy, Foster, Charles, Rice, Morris, Forte, Ridley, Gore, Murray, MJD....could keep going but would have to look...and that's already 10 starters out of 32 that's not a 1st and in some cases 2nd round picks.

Hell we could have gotten Rice or Forte over Stewart in that same draft.

In case you haven't noticed...our franchise isn't exactly being modeled after...

Mayhaps we are doing something wrong?

The only thing we have a history of doing is losing....
