they've only won a superbowl and one of the most dynamic offenses the past few years... but you're right, Jonathan Stewart and Deangelo Williams has made us a much better team than the Packers.

problem is explaining what's already been stated doesn't mean you're going to understand.  and for that, I can't help you.

I like Lacy's potential a lot but hasn't shown much in preseason. I'm just saying as of right now, doesn't have a reliable back.

When a running back is the only weakness (well before their OL went to the IR this preseason), of course that's where they'll say they want to improve.

what value have they held the past 2 years?  this monster on the hillside that fans keep ranting on about has largely been irrelevant despite the obvious truth staring us all in the face...

 

We have ranked in the top 10 in rushing each of he last two seasons (3rd & 9th respectively).

 

Just because they have had to split carries 4 ways does not mean they haven't been effective.

 

People look at Arian Foster and Alfred Morris and think "You can get a great RB anywhere"

 

Those guys are exceptions, not the rule.

 

Other teams like the Broncos, Colts, Patriots, Green Bay etc. have been trying to find a competent RB for years.  They still can't run the ball effectively.

 

But they have amazing QBs so people look at them and think "See you don't need good running backs to be good.  All you need is one of the three or four greatest QBs ever to play football."
