Just because you don't agree with someone's opinion doesn't give you the right to degrade it.

I am (just like everyone else is) entitled to my own opinion, so when someone calls me out and tells me that I'm an idiot for my own opinion; you better believe I'm going to throw it back in their face if it turns out that I was correct.

If someone respects my opinion, but disagrees with it, then that is fine; I don't have a problem with that individual.

The point is, I interact with football players on a daily basis so when someone tells me I'm an idiot based on my prior knowledge of the game, I take offense to that. That's essentially like me telling someone that I know more about their job than they do.

With that said, obviously I wish I was wrong, because you never want to see anyone get hurt.

i don't just because i know i get more stuff wrong than i do right and i know it's pretty much a crapshoot anyway. none of us know nearly as much as we think we do and we all pull stuff out of our asses in here and label it a prediction. it's just that some are under the delusion that their poo is worth smelling again.

Yeah but people used to be respectfu here, now it's just all about "one upping" each other and trolls.

We could have had a lot of people who would have made an immediate impact.  This is just another case of Rivera trying to look like a genius in finding a hidden gem at a no name college.  I'm tired of this stance coming from Rivera.  If you are going to go after a project, thinking you can make him somebody, at least do it on the side of your specialty. (Which is the defensive side of the ball)
