Stewart to start on PUP List

After going to see a foot specialist today, #Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (ankle) will start the season on PUP list, I'm told. Out 6 games.

You can nominate it all you want, bud.  I choose not to worship a 6th round pick because he was so amazing in college...that he was a 6th round pick, just yet.  I'll wait until he can go without missing blocks, fumbling the ball, or running into lineman...in the NFL. :)

So with Stewart on PUP, does this mean he doesn't count for roster purposes? Do we only need to cut 3 guys today instead of 4?
