Stewart seeing ankle specialist today

Honestly, Panther fans have short memories. Stewart has been one of the best running backs in the league, and a freakish running back (4.4 speed with lineman strength and fullback size). Like Philly also mentioned, he a receiving threat to top things off. Unlike D-Will (who I love), he doesn't hesitate and wait for a hole. Stewie hits anything he sees full throttle.

FYI: J-Stew ran injured in various of these clips. It doesn't matter because he has a high threshold for pain. Yet, he's a 'bust' because hasn't rushed for 1K yards?

Lol I love the huddle. I ask at what point do we label him a bust. They twist that into me saying he's a bust, post video highlights to prove me wrong at something I never said in the first place. It's like perpetual motion to keep getting Zod paid.

Based on the footage, the answer is never. J-Stew hasn't disappointed since drafting him. So how do we ask such a brash question? Philly is damn right. If J-Stew were receiving D-Will's snaps, he'd have at least four 1K yard seasons.

On the flip side though, if Stew was getting D-Wills carries his ankles wouldn't have carried him out of 2010.

I'll take it a step further, fans seem to whining about his contract but release him and I guarantee you (unless you're The Pats) there will be multiple organizations ready to offer him a 40-45 million dollar contract based on what he can do.

I can appreciate your dedication and enthusiasm, but there isn't a single other organization that would pay Stewart that kind of money.

At which point those teams need to fire their GM like we did.

bust is too strong of a word. he's not a bust at all but if you looked at another organization and that team paid a second rb with ankle and foot issues who isn't really the "featured back" that kind of money and you would say they were dumb. especially if they had other more glaring issues on the team.

Not in today's NFL...and not with his injury history that is now starting to impact his ability to be on a field. No one would sign him to a long enough deal to reach those 45 mill numbers. Technically, he may land a small 2/3 yr deal that paid well though
