Kugbila gives Wharton his old #70 jersey. Kugbila takes Otah's old number.

I'm not sure that's actually true because the team page lists two 74s (Patrick Brown and Casey Walker)

Gotta figure one of them is actually 73.

Yeah, I noticed that. Had me looking it up and it seems every site lists us with two 74s. Can't say I've seen both of those players out there, but I would suspect that it's not all the uncommon for multiple players to have the same number during TC and early in preseason...especially when there's a surplus on both lines.

Come to think of it, wasn't Campbell 73? He was just waived a couple days ago...

I came here to give Kug props for giving Wharton his number back.  That's a classy, unselfish thing to do, especially in today's climate of money-grubbing athletes (and people at large). Cheers to Kug!

Wharton was like "bro they just signed me off the street to take your job, you know what, I'ma take your number too"

You're right.  I knew I had seen a 73 out there.  Just blanked on who it was.

Speaking of which...do you follow Kubby on twitter?  He seems to be the nicest, most polite, tender-hearted human being you could ever meet.

Not sure if that is what we are looking for in an OL.

Anthony Munoz was the nicest guy you could ever find.

He always smiled and was very pleasant to you as he knocked you on your a$$.

...you being for real?  I haven't started following him yet so I can't say.  Nothing wrong with being a nice guy (see Luke Kuechly) but I just hope there is a switch in there somewhere that the coaching staff has access to.

yea wharton is a super nice dude from the twitter things i read. and him and gross are pretty tight.

For what it is worth, I have a personal friend who grew up with Randall McDaniel and he said that Randall was the nicest person he ever met.  I guess as long as you can turn it on and off is all that matters.

In fairness. a guy that has only participated in two practices since being drafted doesn't have much leverage. Not like he can say "Hey Travelle, I've earned this number."
