At the risk of sticking to the topic, I'm going to suggest that Fua actually knows the playbook.  And Rivera has to play somebody once he's done seeing what he wants to see from the guys who will actually make the team, right?  I'm saying he'll get cut, I don't know if he will make the team.  But if he can be relied on to stick with his assignments, then does it make sense to play him while you focus on other people, rather than risk an injury to one of your rookies?

 

It gets back to the Naka debate last year. He may know his assigment but he can't do anything about it.

 

Most of the big Run plays up the middle we've given up. Fua was in there. This guy can't hold his spot on a 1-1 block let alone a double team. Sooner or later giving your all isn't good enough.

I mean, I'm going to be blunt here. Fua has showed absolutely no reason to give him time. It's not like he's inconsistent and you can see the flashes of ability - He literally sucks every time he's on the field. He doesn't suck just a little bit either, it's a nut shriveling kind of sucking. It puckers my asshole just watching him lumber his useless ass onto the field. They could sit Otah's fat ass on the D-line in an office chair with wheels, while he eats Wendy's triple stackers all game, and he would be as effective as Fua.

IMO I think Fua will be cut, Rivera was giving him 1st team reps to see if there was any improvement.  As we seen he has been outplayed by two rookies and Edwards and Cole have out played him too.  

 

I say that RR will keep the obvious Start, KK, Edwards and Cole.

 

Kearse, Fua and Walker are on the bumble.

 

If we go with 5 DT's, I would keep Kearse and cut Fua and Walker. And hope to sign Walker to the PS he is a rookie.
