Doesn't change the fact he has 2 games of linning up the wrong way and running bad routes and Gettis who has made plays has gotton little to no chance with the 1st team.

Ginn has worked extremely hard during practices all offseason and is active during meetings.

Gettis has waited two seasons rehabbing to get back on the field, yet he still goofs off and acts aloof during practice.

Probably because when he ran with the first team LaFell had to come out of his slot position to personally line Gettis up, and then he followed it up with a critical drop that hit him in the chest (which LaFell also did.)

Ginn turned on the jets for a 74yd punt return TD vs the 1st string of the defending champions and sparked our team.

Gettis made a few intermediate catches vs 3rd and 4th string DBs.

And Again GINN ran the wrong route 7x in the 1st preseason game and was still running with the 1's in the 2nd and 3rd game.

Norman is horrible against the run. He is terrible at tackling. He gets confused way too often from play calling and coverage adjustments. He routinely gets beat off the line by his man.

He picked off a few passes in meaningless games. And they weren't even highlight picks, he was simply the recipient of pressure forcing the QB to chuck the ball.

89 has praised almost every single young DB and WR this offseason. That means nothing. He simply stated Norman has improved and is giving 110%.

If Norman is the best CB he will start. Obviously he isn't.

Norman is terrible at tackling? I remember him leading our team (or being top 2 or 3) for the first few weeks of the season last year, and plenty of those were in run support. Just looked it up...30 tackles in the first 4 games is insane for a CB. He ended up with 70 tackles for the year despite getting benched roughly halfway through the season...

And yeah I know the majority of those tackles came from him giving a big cushion and allowing catches. But if you recall, in the first few games at least, he didn't allow many catches. And that's when he racked up the most tackles. Plus, I'm just refuting your claim that he's a poor tackler...this has nothing to do with his coverage skills.

Had to double check I was in the Fua thread. Rivera forgot Fua's name like 2 months ago. Last year Seyji Ajiritutu got a ton of snaps but when cuts rolled around he was gone.

Did Edwards play in the last 2 games? So WTF are you talking about and why is he in this conversation?? I'm talking about the fact that Gettis earned more reps then he got with the 1's in the last game.

You guys are are arguing about lafell,.gettis and norman. Three players any team worth a fug wouldn't even waste their time on. I like all three of them but they just aren't gonna win us any Super Bowls.
