By 2011, Dombrowski held the two single worst grades that PFF has ever given out in a game for offensive linemen.

Stephen Peterman was just cut by the Jets.

Out of the 90 games he has played, he has started 86 of them.

Peterman is awful in pass protection but pretty solid in run protection.

He might be a better option than Williams and Byers. There also might be room for him if Kugbila has to start the season on I.R.

Saw that.

With Wharton now signed, dunno if he still fits, but it could be worth a look. Might allow Wharton to play tackle (though admittedly he's better at guard).

Still have a feeling there will be better options after final cuts.

Among the Lions cuts is a 6'2, 205lb CB, former bucs third round pick Myron Lewis.  Would have to look up more info on him.  My guess is there's a reason he's out of a job.

 

Chiefs let go of an old East carolina guy - and former Saint - WR Terrance Copper.  Mildly notable but doubt he lands here.

 

Chargers/former Seahawks WR Deon Butler looked like a guy on the rise a while back.  Not so much anymore.

I don't know much about him, but I'm not interested at all. If I'm not mistaken, the Bucs cut him within the last two weeks and the Lions picked him up within a day or so. They then signed Mathis, and are now cutting Lewis, so I'm guessing Lewis didn't impress AT ALL.

Makes sense.  He has an intriguing profile, but when you're cut this early - and twice - there's a reason.

 

Wonder if he's a problem child.

A lot of folks wanted us to pick up Rogers. He had a TD catch in the Colts game a few weeks ago.

Rogers was inconsistent and sometimes acted immature in Bills camp.

 

A guy with a history like he has really needs to show something to stick somewhere.  Looks like he didn't.  Teams don't want another Titus Young.

 

Maybe he'll catch on somewhere and clean up his act.  Doubt it'll be here.
