I'd like to take a look at Chris Hope. Not the guy he used to be anymore could be an upgrade over Campbell.

Agreed, I don't think Campbell should make the cut. Nakamura has also outplayed Mitchell in my opinion. We need an upgrade at SS for sure.

For personal reasons, I'd love to see us take a chance on him.

 

I have a unique connection to him as I played a part (sort of) in him getting drafted coming out of Morehouse College back in 2010.

 

Big Mon is a good dude with great size (6-6, 330). He's also very smart (engineering major, I think, at MHC) but just hasn't been able to stay healthy since he's been in the league, which is a big reason why he hasn't been able to stay healthy. He started some games for the Ravens last season before getting hurt.

Anyone with PFF sub wanna look up OG/OT Brandyn Dombrowski? Got cut by the Chargers, has appeared in 47 games over 3 seasons and started 15. I'm sure Rivera has some familiarity with him as well.  He any good?

He was a decent utility guy, but he was out all last year with a foot injury. It's possible he's still having lingering issues with it. Also Colin Baxter lost his backup C job to Molk.

In 2010 Dombrowski graded out as the worst pass blocking right tackle in the NFL.

By 2011, Dombrowski held the two single worst grades that PFF has ever given out in a game for offensive linemen.

I was really disappointed when we didn't take him in the 4th. I showed some major love for him in the Patton thread, but I figured there had to be some major reason we didn't take him. I honestly thought he was at least one of the top 3 WR in the draft after Hopkins and Austin.

What about TE Leonard Pope? 6'8" about 240 or somethin. Maybe he can resurrect his career here?
