Players whom are released during the first waive of cuts don't generally get asked to come join the practive squad. Nobody get their hopes up on any of these players that were relased today. They were first waive cuts for a reason.

I can see some logic to that.  However, I'd bet $50 that we don't keep any players on our practifce squad that were cut today.  Ngezwu was cut over Roh, whom also will more than likely be cut.  It appears evident that we like Roh more than Ngezwu.  If a DE gets the practie squad, I think it's Roh.

Could also be roh showed flashes, but not as much as nzegwa. They are giving him one more game to see if they missed something.

Pilares could have been a good weapon. I'm really disappointed he didn't make it.

I forgot to mention Horton, who has also shown flashes at DE.  There is too much evidence that Negwzu won't be making our PS.

What evidence? He's been one of our better pass rushers in the preseason. In fact, he's got 8-9 QB pressures with 3 sacks.

 

The evidence..?  #1, we cut him over 2 other UDFA DE's (Roh and Horton), and #2, he was a first round cut.  What more evidence do you need?  I'll eat crow if I'm wrong.. but geez, you don't call that evidence?

Other  than that, Gano has solidified the #1 kicking job here, and could for a while assuming he doesn't melt down. I'm still not sold on Nortman as a punter, but Gay wasn't going to give him the competition he needs. Honestly, between whoever wins the Raiders punting job, we should look at the one that's cut. Both Kluwe and the other dude who's name escapes me have both been rock solid this preseason.

 

I hope they stash Cameron away on PS, I think he could be decent at some point. He knows the spread offense like the back of his hand.

Nzegwu was released bc of good DEs already on the team..also so he can get either on the PSquad or hook on with a team bc he is a quality player.

No room+ quality player = team will help you find a job with an early release.

The NFL has become a spread offense league. Guys like Cameron for in with that mentality. Also, I would say that he's better than Derek Anderson right now as far as ability goes. I've watched both practice and play live multiple times.
