4th Preseason Game....

Really sucks as a fan (especially a psl owner) to have the 1st and 4th preseason games be the home ones.

The 4th game is going to suck since we will only see the starters for 1-2 drives max if at all.

There are some decisions that can be influenced by this game but its just mainly going to be the bottom feeders/ practice squad candidates having 1 last chance to earn a spot.

Do like i did and give your 4th ticket away.

Rivera said they should happen today on the latest panthers.com video even tho deadline is not til Tuesday.

Not unusual. Most teams know the initial list of who's staying and who's going right after game three.

Don't be surprised if other teams make their cuts prior to Tuesday as well.

If he is holding his cards, it would be idiotic to show them in the 4th preseason game and give the Seahawks a heads up

Come on, we all know Shula has already showed his hand and the offense will be terrible.

Seriously, I don't think Shula has shown anything but formations. There is one play I can think of that we ran that can be scouted and that was the Lafell TD. Besides that we ran one play out of the pistol suggesting we will have a pistol formation, but that is all we know. Since we still have Chuds play book , Cam, and Dwill coming off a 200 yard game I'm optimistic. Actually maybe more so than before the Ravens game simply because I realized how little we were showing. The defense could just pin their ears back and get after Cam without fear of being beat by a screen, draw, or play action or Cam really trying to run.

Unlike the Patriots offensive shutdown, we have all those wrinkles to help cam escape pressure and slow down the pass rush. I'm not as worried as most people on here and I'm sure the people in the Foxhole.

In the  Pat Yasinkas chat Friday he said we ran a lot of different plays/formations that we haven't show yet in preseason.

Ok, cam dipping his head and dropping straight back is not new. Maybe the routes the receivers ran, but in the grand scheme of our offense, there wasn't much to see.

Do you really think Shula would keep dropping Cam back on 5 step drops when he knows the defense is sending 5 everytime? No, we would run a screen or draw plays or even an inside screen to the slot receiver to take up the area vacated by the linebackers. We didn't show anything of strategic value. It still seemed scripted to me. Plus, the general consensus seems be be any reporter talking about us is generally speaking out of their arse.

IMHO: These are the bubble players whose performance in the 4th game could decide whether they make the team/practice squad or find themselves looking for a new team.

Domenik Hixon

Armanti Edwards

Joe Adams

Nate Chandler

Brandon Williams

Derek Anderson

Tauren Poole

Armond Smith

Craig Roh

Wes Horton

Frank Kearse

Casey Walker

I'd like to see the first team offense drive down the field and score a touchdown, and every offensive team to look prepared, focused, and disciplined. Hixon needs to get out there and make some plays, as does Armanti. Brandon Williams played the entire game the other night, which indicates to me that he's on the second cut bubble and Rivera is giving him every opportunity to make the roster. While he's shown he's improved as a blocker, he hasn't had a game yet that demonstrates that he could be a weapon at this level. So, I think he's on the bubble. May make it because of his potential, may not. I think if he plays well he solidifies a spot.  I'd like to see 2nd and 3rd team WR and DB guys step up and take a hold of their roster spot and show who the best is so we don't have to take a battle into the regular season with an unwanted rotation. I'd also like to see Cameron play QB if he's still on the roster then just because I haven't seen him yet.

Other than, I'm just praying and hoping for no injuries most importantly.

With Stewart a big question, Barner banged up already. and Williams looking mediocre  at best, we will not be getting rid of Poole.  A Smith sealed his fate when he decided to act like a belligerent 2 year old in front of a national tv audience.
