Scouting the Seadderall Speedhawks

You need a QB, you take a QB. They dont want to be the Dolphins and Rams whom passed up on fuggn Ryan. Clowney might be the best player to come out in a long while, but Bridgewater has drawn "Aaron Rodgers" comparison. The main reason why the Raiders are in the position they are in for the last decade is the lack of QB. They havent found that franchise QB yet. Bridgewater if lives up to the hype will instantly fill that and start a new culture over there.

The Raiders are not going to win games with Clowney compared to Bridgewater. Pryor and Flynn are bad QBs. Pryor showed a little bit last night, but that was against the Bears' backups. He's not going to be able to try scrambling/making something out of nothing like last night once the regular season starts. He made a lot of bad decisions last night too. Multiple times where he should have thrown the ball away and he didnt.

Yeah, and the raiders just traded their first round pick away and their fourth round pick might be cut. You take BPA if you have the first pick. Clowney is guaranteed to succeed barring injury or legal troubles. To the Rodgers comparison, he sat behind one of the best QBs of all time for four years. Bridgewater will be lucky to be awarded four years im because if the Raiders D doesn't improve they will continue to have top picks. When you keep picking up QBs you begin to look like the Lions did for a while so if I'm the Raiders, I go with Clowney and trade up into the first if possible if a quarterback is there.

And we thought the same thing about Cam. Flynn is better than Clausen was at the time so I think he's useful. The change didn't come till we got Star and Luke. Defense wins games when your down 27-0, the offense doesn't have a shot. If Cam got sacked five time we'd be screaming for the almight Kalils head.

Knowing the raiders they pick up bridgewater when they really need clowney. Clowney is a once in a generation talent and can't be passed up for a QB. Their defense is the problem as Terrelle Pryor showed. Hell, they have an App state alum starting at DE for them. I'm Jk, Jason was gonna be starting for Denver last year until he tore his triceps so I wouldn't be too concerned. But Clowney is probably better equipped than Peppers was. Make the switch to 3-4 and bring in Clowney.

IF it were a lesser QB I'd disagree, but barring some weird collapse this season Bridgewater is one of the better QB prospects of the past few years. Clowney is indeed a once in a generation type player, but if you have a surefire good QB prospect staring you in the face and you need one, that's the route you take.

Wilson is efficient but he also likes to hold the ball to long for somebody to get open. DTs gonna have to get push to force him to get happy feet and get out the pocket.

When Wilson is on the move that's when he becomes a problem!

Big mistake for Oakland if they take Clowney. He's a once in a generation player but if they decides to pass up on Bridgewater (considering he lives to the hype) the Oakland Raiders will suck for another 10 years.

Look at SF for example. They had the best LB in the NFL (Willis) for a while. They didn't start to have success until now when Harbaugh revamped Alex Smith and now with Kaepernick. In this league today, you better have that franchise QB. The days of Brad Johnson and the Tampa Bucs are long gone.

I fully expect us to win over Seattle in Week 1. It's probably going to be ugly offensively but I'll take our Defense over Seattle's offense. They're going to be without Harvin and Rice.

Don't really matter about having Havin or Rice if you are open Wilson will put it in your hands. His first 5 passes last night were to 5 different WR's! SMH

Wilson throws two picks and no tds and highlights say he looked "good" and "sharp" "Russell Wilson impresses" but Cam throws no picks and has dropped balls and we get "Cam Newton struggles"

It's not much of that. His accuracy was a problem Thursday night, not the dropped balls. Not sure how much of that was effected by the terrible OL play. Wilson on the other hand showed great accuracy and understanding of the game last night.

Not taking anything away from Cam bc we are going with a vanilla offense in the preseason. I still expect Cam to be Cam once Week 1 begins, but his fundamentals does make me wonder at times.

Yea and then what happened after that? Not much. You guys are not going to win a lot of games with Tate and Kearse unless y'all are just able to overpower defenses with your running game.

Also note that GB wasn't playing with their 1st string DBs last night.

i picked seattle to win the NFC at the start of the season, but the more i watch them, the less impressed i get. harvin is going to be the difference for them because without him on the field they have a very average offense.

Harvin haven't played one down with Seattle he was with the Vikings last year! They were 11-5 last year without him and a very average offense. SMH

go back to that game and point out three "accuracy issues" i seen dropped balls and wrong routes. a qb is only as accurate as his receivers and the time he has to throw.

While Russell Wilson (-1.7) won’t have to start worrying about his starting job any time soon, Seattle fans will have to start worrying about him if he takes some of the careless throws he made in this one into the regular season. Twice, on consecutive plays, he tried to force balls into coverage and, while he was lucky to avoid an interception with 1:28 remaining in the first half, at 1:23 he wasn’t so fortunate when trying to fit a pass between Packers defenders that was never on.

Next time you knock someone from your own team while building up another teams player at least be right.
