I know I know PRESEASON.... But should we be concerned about Cam's accuracy?

We have also seen him throw high and behind and make poor decisions, shouty footwork etc.

Yes there is reason for concern.

We need him to improve plain and simple.

This doesn't even deserve a response, but I'm game/will kill off some brain cells for a moment

Every QB in the NFL does that (bolded portion).

So now you're saying, that Cam is not a good NFL QB? Cause that's what you're implying by your statement, disposition and low tolerance. He's not perfect, especially with shitty OL play, leading to a poor timing, and running game to boot.

The "Huddle". SMH/LOL

If you haven't watched the highlights, Tom Brady looked average at best today due to a poor OLine. If our OLine can't block you should be concerned about Cam, DWill, Stewart, Tolbert, Barner, and whoever else has to line up behind them. The 5 men upfront will pretty much determine if this team succeeds.

i would need to watch the game again to specifically name them, but he has missed many throws he should have made. i know he hasnt been comfortable at all, but there have been some pretty simple pitch and catch throws that he just hasnt delivered.

Like the two that Olsen fugged up (that would have been 1st downs), the one that Lafell dropped (that would have been a 1st down inside the 20), and the one that Lafell ran an "in" when he should have run an "out"?

Baltimore has a great pass rush and they are the world champs. We didn't look good but Baltimore had a lot to do with that as well. Should offer a ton of film to watch and figure out how to make the blocks we need to make.

we have also seen every QB do those things.hell the QB on the other side of the field did that in this game, and he just won a super bowl MVP. QBs do go perfect in this game, i forgot.

Panthers D dominates against the Ravens and the sportscenter headline is "Cam Newton Struggles"

If that's true, they're trying to paint the picture, write their own story again.

Not sure how that's important in a win, with no INT's and a positive % by the quarterback. But I guess that's just ESPN for ya. SMH

I'm sure if Griffin "struggles" during MNF, they won't even mention it. Lol

It's an actual headline on Sportscenter

deep balls he is among the best in the league. those medium and short passes are off sometimes. like i said earlier its not a major concern of this team. i think cam is a strength and if this offense succeeds it will be through him. i just think that its worth acknowledging. i dont like how people are just trying to shut down the point of this topic. this forum in general is bad about encouraging certain conversations. so many posters get shot down for discussing something that is relevant.

it gets shut down, because some you guys sit here and pounce on every bad throw this guy makes. he misses Olsen in the flat today, but Elam bailed the offense out. later on, he hits Olsen in the numbers with a LB on the outside of him in the seam. he misses passes, but so does every QB.

does he need to work on his short game, yes, but again i also heard he made some nice checks and short passes today as well. also this offense is predictable as hell right now on 3rd down.
